Welcome to St. Martin’s C of E (Aided) Primary School.

I feel that our school is special for many reasons. We are a Church of England school which means we have close links with St Martin’s Church and Salisbury Cathedral and work together in an environment of respect and care for others. There is a positive and supportive family atmosphere where all staff work hard to provide safe and welcoming surroundings for our children. We all work collaboratively to make learning fun, so that our children learn in a stimulating and exciting way. Our aim is to offer an education of the highest possible standard, with a curriculum which meets the needs and aptitudes of each child.

This is also a school that focuses very much on meeting the needs of individual children, thus ensuring that all children meet their potential. We value the contribution that every individual makes to the life of the school and celebrate the many different characters that are part of our school community. We are proud that this is a school where children learn to look after each other and to take responsibility.

Our extensive grounds provide a haven in the heart of the city. We use the grounds with Forest Schools, extensive sporting activities and play. We are a school where your child can develop their social and academic skills.

We want your child to enjoy their time at St Martin’s School and, by the time they leave, to be equipped with the skills and motivation they will need to take them through the next phase of their education and beyond.
