Easter Service at St Martin's Church

We ended our term with a moving and reflective Easter service at St Martin's Church.  Father Michael led us through a service which recalled the events of Holy Week.  Twelve children from years 4 to 6 read beautifully.  Seven of our year 6 girls performed a piece of dance/theatre which represented Jesus' body being taken to the tomb.  We would like to thank Mrs Lilley, a foundation governor and churchwarden at St Martin's Church, for all of her work in teaching us the songs, preparing the service and rehearsing the dance.

It was a lovely service which helped us to reflect on our achievements, our tolerance of others and forgiveness.   Thank you to everyone involved.
