Science week day 5. 29.6.18. Sparrows became archaeologists for the morning excavating poo from the Aztec times looking to see what food they used to eat. They found lots of seeds, pips etc. They had so much fun!
Bean seed, week 3. 29.6.18
Un-nature trail. Sparrows enjoyed going on an un-nature trail looking for things in nature which shouldn't be there.
28th June 2018, science week day 4. Escape from the ice. Sparrows chose different places to put the ice blocks and we monitored which figurine would escape first. They made excellent predictions and enjoyed looking at the ice blocks waiting for them to escape!
Science week day 3. 27.6.18. Let's talk chocolate....... Sparrows enjoyed making predictions about which type of chocolate would melt the fastest, we then investigated to see if our predictions were right. We were surprised to find the White chocolate melted the quickest! Sparrows had a great morning investigating!
Mini beast hunt. Sparrows had great fun exploring the school grounds looking for insects, we also found a very handsome rabbit. 21st June 2018

Prince Louis. Sparrows made cards welcoming Prince Louis into the Royal family and today we received a thank you letter! We were so happy.

Planting Cress. Sparrows had a great afternoon planting cress in their pots, we can't wait to watch them grow. 14th June 2018

Bean seed growing. 7th June 2018 Sparrows have started an investigation looking at the growth and changes of a bean over the term. They have made diaries to record changes.
Capacity. Sparrows have been enjoying learning in a hands on way, investigating the capacity of different containers. 7th June 2018
In the style of Peter Thorpe. 3rd May 2018. Sparrows really enjoyed starting their space themed abstract artwork in the style of Peter Thorpe. His work is really something quite fantastic. Keep a look out for the finished pieces 😳
Fundamentals PE festival. Some of Sparrows were really lucky to take part in a PE festival at St Edmunds School. They had a great morning learning lots of new skills. Thank you to Mr Adlam and Mrs Pridden for taking them. The children made our school very proud 👍🏻
A material hunt. In preparation for making our material alien Sparrows went looking for different materials around school and what different properties they had. 19.4.2018

Sparrows always enjoy some great relaxation at the end of yoga using the lavender bags. This is such an important skill for them to learn and Sparrows love the opportunity to just be quiet and still.
